I think most these pages were done around 2006. I dove into scrapbooking that year. I think my dad passing away made me want to savor every moment of life. I also wanted to remember every special and not so special time. I wanted to freeze my memories of Ashley's childhood. For that reason I was hung up on doing most my pages about Ashley. Not complaining. I love the memories are saved.

This is a page I did a couple years back. It is me in the 6th grade. I guess I am slowly trying to go back and tell about my childhood days in a scrapbook .

I was so shy!

I think I was about 7 here. I wanted to tell about my hopes and dreams I had at a very young age. So you see most are just that. I never did anything I thought about at that young age.

This seems like the perfect Layout to upload today. It is about my favorite Collage Football team, Alabama! I happen to have watched them today! YES! I Love Fall because we have football! Alabama has 0 loses  as of today. They won 3 Championships in the last 4 years. I think they could be heading for number 4!

I did this page a long time ago. It was to remember how much Ashley loved books. I guess we will never forget because she was always begging for more books. I loved reading to her. I would change my voice for the characters and have so much fun with it. Ashley was never happy with one book. We had to read many.

As Ashley grew older I would share the reading. I would read a page and then have her read a page. As grew, and maybe around 4th grade, I had her read more and more to me. I think I enjoyed it as much as she did. Many were books I had never read.  Rebecca of Sunny brook Farm, Stuart Little and Heidi. Then we got into magical and mystical books.  they had dragons, Hobbits, mice and fairies. Those were good times.

Ashley never has stopped loving books. Now she not only reads but enjoys writing. She has a big imagination.

Raggedy Ann

An older layout I did. From 2002 or 2003, I am guessing. Ashley was missing her front teeth in the photo. Mom use to make her those cute Daisy Kingdom dresses. Ashley LOVED them. She was always such a girly girl. This one was taken at Wal- Mart. Mom was always wanting every pose they did. She thought they were just too cute to not get them all. I used scraps from fabric my mom had on this layout.




This is my first post on my scrapbook Blog. This blog is just to upload my favorite scrapbook pages. I am hoping this keeps me motivated and creative. It's always fun to go back and look at the pages I created in the past. I hope you enjoy looking and maybe I can help inspire friends or family to get creative with me!

This is a page I did a few years back. It is Ashley and her friend Christy. Christ had started taking guitar lessons and Ashley had been wanting to after getting a guitar the Christmas before. They were being silly and acting like a couple country music singers. Eventually Ashley did take guitar lessons. But she didn't like how hard it was on her fingers. After several months of lessons and not getting far she decided to give up for a while. Maybe some day she will try again.
